Some snaps from last Saturday’s event. We had our event held at U.P Town Center’s Amphitheater last Saturday from 6-10PM. It was an evening of music and poetry. We have invitated Words Anonymous’ Henri Igna, Indra Cepeda and Jihad Mambuay to share with us their spoken words. Reese Lansangan and Itchyworms was also there to perform.

This was my second event with my Hallmark family. The first was last Valentines Day when we arranged a flashmob in Eastwood City. It has always been fun working with them. I was assigned to handle our Facebook account and give live updates. It was a first for me. If you are following us on our facebook account Hallmark PH I was the one posting photos and live videos. I wanted to go fan girling and have my photos taken with our guests but I cannot leave my station. Hahaha. Work before fan girling. Lol. It’s fine tho. I’m used to being the one behind the camera.

Clare (my officemate) and I made special edition Hallmark Hugot Cards which was only released for that specific event and was given to the first 50 people who was there. We also had them write in it to flash in our LED screen. Some lines from the cards which I wrote are “Ngayong Pasko… Sana Pakinggan mo naman ang tibok ng puso ko.” That’s the one with the heartbeat and earphones which I designed myself as well. Another one is the heart with a “YES!” and below it was a line saying “Sana ngayong pasko, makuha ko ang matamis mong OO.” There was also a contest on the best hugot lines and was given prizes c/o Nestle Philippines, BiC Stationery and ofcourse, Hallmark Philippines.

So glad that everyone enjoyed our event. Looking forward for more events. It’s really nice to see the smiles on people’s faces having such a good time with their family and friends. It’s also nice to see the faces of our ex-officemates. Even though they have already resigned, they still made time to support us and go to our event. Being able to work with these people are on of my best #HallmarkMoments! 🙂

Outgoing Mail

A few months back, I’ve posted here and on tumblr asking if anyone was interested in being pen pals or like trade letters and stuff. Luckily, a few people have replied. It took me a while to finish and make their letters because I got really busy at work and some freelance on the side. The only time I can drop by the post office is during the weekends. I don’t know if those people who messaged me and replied will still remember but I hope I’d surprise them. And since I’ve hoarded a lot of cards in our office I included some cards in my mail. I also slipped some Christmas Tags that I made last year.

It’s nice to know that there are still people who are into snail mails and having pen pals. Nowadays, people are so into techie stuff and busy with their gadgets. They only talk through text messages, and various social media platforms. I think it’s still nice to receive a letter once in a while. I got mine like 2 months ago from Liz Bransy (writewithliz). I know it’s too late but I’m just about to send my reply together with these 3 other mails. I’m so excited to hear from them. Also, I’m hoping to write more letters and get to know more people. 🙂

Hey guys. So recently I’ve been collecting and hoarding a lot of cards. My roommate also gave me a lot of her collections when she moved out of our apartment. I decided to cut off some cover page and turn them into post cards.

I think it would be great to get to know some people from different sides of the world and be friends with them. So, anyone interested in exchanging letters with me? 🙂 I’ll also be giving some free cards / post cards to those I’ll be writing.

To those interested kindly leave me a message on my Contact page or comment here. 🙂
