Some snaps from last Saturday’s event. We had our event held at U.P Town Center’s Amphitheater last Saturday from 6-10PM. It was an evening of music and poetry. We have invitated Words Anonymous’ Henri Igna, Indra Cepeda and Jihad Mambuay to share with us their spoken words. Reese Lansangan and Itchyworms was also there to perform.

This was my second event with my Hallmark family. The first was last Valentines Day when we arranged a flashmob in Eastwood City. It has always been fun working with them. I was assigned to handle our Facebook account and give live updates. It was a first for me. If you are following us on our facebook account Hallmark PH I was the one posting photos and live videos. I wanted to go fan girling and have my photos taken with our guests but I cannot leave my station. Hahaha. Work before fan girling. Lol. It’s fine tho. I’m used to being the one behind the camera.

Clare (my officemate) and I made special edition Hallmark Hugot Cards which was only released for that specific event and was given to the first 50 people who was there. We also had them write in it to flash in our LED screen. Some lines from the cards which I wrote are “Ngayong Pasko… Sana Pakinggan mo naman ang tibok ng puso ko.” That’s the one with the heartbeat and earphones which I designed myself as well. Another one is the heart with a “YES!” and below it was a line saying “Sana ngayong pasko, makuha ko ang matamis mong OO.” There was also a contest on the best hugot lines and was given prizes c/o Nestle Philippines, BiC Stationery and ofcourse, Hallmark Philippines.

So glad that everyone enjoyed our event. Looking forward for more events. It’s really nice to see the smiles on people’s faces having such a good time with their family and friends. It’s also nice to see the faces of our ex-officemates. Even though they have already resigned, they still made time to support us and go to our event. Being able to work with these people are on of my best #HallmarkMoments! 🙂

Two weeks ago my cousin and I together with her boss went to a fashion show. They were in the garments industry so they were scouting for new clients. It was my first time going to such an event and really dress up. The collections were amazing and I loved it. Here are some of the pieces from different fashion designers.

Although I am an arts student I don’t really know much about fashion. Like I swear I’m so bad and mix and matching clothes. Hahaha. But nonetheless, I still enjoyed the show.

Here’s a photo of me and my cousin.

We had a bathroom selfie because we were too shy to ask people to take photos of us. Haha

That’s me and Callum David (the dj!). And yes he is my cousin’s boss’. And a group photo. (Me, my cousin, Callum (her boss), PJ and Sunny of weRwolvz (Callum’s DJ friends).

Indie Scene

Recently I’ve been really into these indie bands. Thanks to my roommate for introducing me to them. I enjoy going to gigs and seeing those bands perform live. Sing with the crowd and just jump and dance into their music. I don’t really have a favorite band or genre of music. I just listen to whatever I feel or depending on my mood. My most favorite gig that I was able to attend so far was the Jack Daniel’s Future Legends PH. Here are some of the bands that performed during the event.

Tom’s Story

The indie music scene isn’t dead. These guys are bringing them into life. Sometimes I hate the fact that they are becoming kind of mainstream now. There are a lot of people who already knows them and attend their gigs. But on the other hand I’m glad that a lot of people has already been reached by their music. So kudos to these people for uniting people through their music. I support indie. I support local.

Steffy set

Recently I did an invitation set for a client. My friend recommended me to do their invite and he was the one who covered the whole event. They wanted a rustic type of theme and feels for the invite. This is a 4-set invitation (Main Invite, Entourage, Location Map and RSVP).

I was so happy with the result and the client was too. I saw a part of the video coverage from the event and my invites were featured. I also do invitations for wedding, birthdays, baptismal etc. You may visit my instagram page for more of my works. instagram.com/riedesignph
