Japanese food is <3

I think Japanese cuisine is one of the best cuisines ever! Sushi is a gift to humanity ❤ Hahaha lol. I could eat them all day everyday. I seriously love Japanese food. It is my go to comfort food. It’s my reward after days of hard work, my stress reliever, my happy pill. Last Sunday, my roommate and I decided to have dinner at one of my favorite Japanese place in Kapitolyo. We ordered some crazy maki, chicken skin karaage and kani salad. We spent around 355php. Very affordable right? Their food is really great that’s why I always go back. And the servers are really nice too.

And since I posted this photo on my instagram my officemate suddenly craved for sushi. Hahaha. And so, she invited me to have dinner to another Japanese restaurant. Which is just actually across Takashi’s. Tok-yu also serves Japanese food for a very affordable price. I decided to try out their Soba. It’s my first time to eat cold noodles. Can you believe this is just 135php?! Yaaaas. Hahaha. It was weird in a good way. I swear I’ll never get tired of eating Japanese food!

Lola Ote

Last Friday night me and my 2 co-workers decided to have dinner at Lola Ote’s. Its located in Robinson’s Novaliches. I didn’t know that there’s a restaurant near my place that serves Filipino Street foods.

We ordered their 18″ Barbecue and some Isaw Baboy (Pig Intestines). Some may find it disgusting but its a hit for most Filipinos.

We also had Chicharon Bulaklak (Deep Fried Pork Mesentery), Isaw Manok (chicken intestines), Chicken Feet and Ginataang Sitaw with shrimp and pork. Exotic as it may seem but they are very delicious. Can’t get enough of that chicharon bulaklak though. Huhu it’s so crunchy and yummy.

The price was okay considering its a restaurant. Ofcourse its much cheeper buying on the streets. But at least somehow, you know that this is really “clean”.

Manila Wings

Yesterday I met a friend of mine from way back high school. He was actually my senior. 1 batch higher than me. Back in the days we had a clan that only people in our school are in. We met there and eventually became friends. Kuya Paolo is like a big brother to me. I always invite him during my birthday celebration and he always make sure to never miss it. He’s currently in his third year in law school and I’m just so proud of him.

We met at SM Fairview since he’s also going back to their condo in Mandaluyong and I’m renting a place in Pasig so he gave me a ride. We also decided to have dinner since my friend is also moving in with me.

We were suppose to eat at Gastro park but since it was a holiday it was jam packed. We couldn’t find any available seats. I suggested we try Silantro but it was also full. So we ended up eating at Manila Wings.

It just opened like a month ago and I haven’t tried it out yet. We ordered their Manila Wings and Honey Garlic Wings (6 pcs costs 185php), Kuya Paolo had the grilled cheese (175php), I ordered their Kalbi Tacos (150php for 2 pcs), and my friend Ynna had Chili Cheese Footlong (150php).

We actually shared everything. The serving is for each dish is good for 1-2 persons which is great. Everything tastes really good! I was really surprised. It was just near my place and sometimes when I pass by there, there aren’t much people. I wanted to invite my friends here sometime to eat too. Overall, I’d rate it 10/10. That is how satisfied and happy I was with the food. Ugh I love everything we ate. I would definitely go back again. 🙂
